About NNYC

The Neenah-Nodaway Yacht Club (NNYC) has been in existence since 1864, making it one of the oldest Yacht Clubs in the country.  During the years since our founding, the NNYC has been committed to promoting sailing for individuals of all ages by sponsoring club racing and cruising, helping to support the Fox Valley Sailing School, and taking part in many community events locally and on Lake Winnebago. When the NNYC was formed it set out to accomplish three goals which are still the cornerstone of our existence:

To promote pleasure sailing and racing on Lake Winnebago.
To establish a standard code of rules and signals for the Lake.
To discourage extravagant expenditure in yachting.

Who we are
We are a friendly and fun-loving group with a passion for sailing.  We are open to everyone and all ages.  We are NOT exclusive or elitist.  If you have a passion for sailing or an interest in learning to sail we are the group for you. Come join in the fun!

What we do
We enjoy cruising and racing sailboats on Lake Winnebago.  We get together to socialize, promote sailing, and maintain a valuable community organization.  We host and run club racing, special regattas, cruising events, and social events.  Our activities offer fun for all ages and enough variety to suit different tastes.  We offer moorings for sailboats in the Neenah harbor.
